With joy and pride, we announce the jury of the eleventh Bašta Fest!
The main jury consists of three members: Hana Selimović, actress, Vladimir Tagić, director and Jelena Angelovski, producer. Awards will be given for the Best Film (Golden Imagination), and the Best Male and Female role (Golden Interpretation). The jury has the right to award two Special mentions, as well as to divide or not award one of the prizes.

Hana Selimović is a Serbian film, television, and theater actress. She has won a large number of theater awards for her roles in the plays “Father on a business trip” (Atelje 212), “Ivanov” (National Theater Belgrade), “The Power of Darkness” (National Theater Belgrade), “Tartif” (SNP and National Theater Sombor). , “64” (Atelje 212), “Clean House” (Atelje 212). She achieved notable and award-winning roles in the films “White, White World” (Oleg Novković), and “Disobedient” (Mina Đukić), as well as in the series “Besa” and “Tycoon”.

Vladimir Tagić is the director whose feature film “Yugo Florida” we are waiting to come out of post-production. He became known to the general audience with the series “Tomorrow Will Change Everything”, which he co-directed with his colleague Goran Stanković. He also worked with Goran on the series “Sablja”, which recently premiered at Canneseries and won the Special Interpretation Award for the whole cast. He signed the script and directed several episodes of the series “Mom and Dad are playing war”, and directed several episodes of the series “Suspicious Faces”. His short film “Emergency Exit” premiered at Clermont-Ferrand, and won awards in Pančevo and Munich at the International Festival of Film Academies.

Jelena Angelovski is a producer dedicated to art-house films. Some of her feature fiction films: “The Elegy of Laurel” by Dušan Kasalica (2021, Sarajevo Film Festival, Oscar candidate from Montenegro), Ivan Salatić’s “You Have The Night” (2018, Venice International Film Festival) and “Wondrous Is The Silence Of My Master” (forthcoming), as well as Tamara Drakulić’s “Wind” (2016, Torino Film Festival) and short fiction by Staša Bajac “Morocco” (forthcoming). Angelovski also produced award-winning documentaries and co-produced several successful projects. She is a participant in the EAVE European Producers Workshop 2020.
At the third Bašta Fest, a regional award for the best camera (Golden Visualization) was established. The jury of the eleventh Bašta Fest for this award will be Aleksandar Karaulić, director of photography from Serbia.

YOUTH JURY
The youth jury made up of high school students from Bajina Bašta also awards its prize for the Best Film, and their participation in the program encourages the critical attitude of local youth. This year’s Youth Jury will consist of Milica Marić, Nađa Jovanović, Dušan Mihailović, Katarina Filipović and Vanja Milanović.

Milica Marić is 18 years old, goes to the third grade at the “Josif Pančić” High School, majoring in languages, and loves to read books. Nađa Jovanović likes to draw and create. She plays volleyball and likes to go out and spend time with friends. Dušan Mihailović is 17 years old, he is in the third grade at the “Josif Pančić” High School, majoring in languages, and his hobby is the design and programming of stage lighting. Katarina Filipović is 16 years old, goes to the “Josif Pančić” High School, and loves music and movies. Vanja Milanović is 15 years old and has various interests in the field of music and film, loves social networks and is interested in marketing and web design.

The mentor and collaborator of the Youth Jury will be director Mina Đukić. Mina wrote and directed the award-winning film “Disobedient” (2014), which was screened at over 20 international festivals, including Sundance and Rotterdam. In front of the Kiselo Dete production company, she was the producer and co-producer of several award-winning films, and recently she directed two TV series “Mom and Dad Are Playing War 2” and “The Visit”. He is preparing a new film and teaches at the SAE Institute in Belgrade.
