We are happy to inform you that submissions for the 9th edition of the international short fiction film festival Bašta Fest are open from November 22nd, 2021.

To be included in the selection process for Bašta Fest, you have to submit your short fiction film of up to 30 minutes via the websites www.festhome.com and www.filmfreeway.com. The film you are applying with can be produced within the last two years (therefore, not older than 2020).

Keep in mind that our festival and programmer Artistic director Maja Šuša pay special attention to the work between the director and the actors, so priority will be given to those films with authentic and thrilling acting achievements. Films which are not in English must have English subtitles.

The deadline for applications is midnight, March 1st, 2022 (CET). We are waiting for your movies!
