We are happy to inform you that submissions for the 13th edition of the international short fiction film festival Bašta Fest are open from December 15th, 2025.

To be included in the selection process for Bašta Fest, you have to submit your short fiction film of up to 30 minutes via the website FilmFreeway:

The film you are applying with can be produced within the last two years (therefore, not older than 2024).

Keep in mind that our Artistic team pays special attention to the work between the director and the actors, so priority will be given to those films with authentic and thrilling acting achievements. Films must have English subtitles.

The deadline for applications is midnight, March 15th, 2026 (CET). We are waiting for your movies!
