We present the music program of the 11th Bašta Fest for which we hope you will be dancing in the open at the beach Rača, alongside river Drina, with the most original names in the Serbian club scene. At this year’s festival, we will listen to: DJ Jackie, Funk Technik Group – FTG, traditional Čola night, and DJ Nikola Vemić.

The eleventh Bašta Fest, the International Short Fiction Film Festival, is held from July 4 to 7, 2024. We continued the tradition as the festival brings together the most interesting filmmakers and actors worldwide in one place – in Bajina Bašta! The music program is returning to the beach Rača at the river Drina, from 23h every night during the festival.

The entire program of the Bašta Fest is held in Bajina Basta – outdoors and it is FREE, so you are more than welcome to join us and enjoy the film-music-educational adventure!

Boris Djerman aka Jackie is a DJ and producer from Belgrade. He played with a bunch of bands where for over 10 years. The love for electronic music was born in early 2000, with the rise of drum’n’bass and jungle, but the first approach to DJing took place in 2008. In addition to producing and mixing, is one of the conductors and Mystic Stylez crew, club night devoted to the world, house, grime, footwork, and club music.

Funk Technik Group is the regular host of the Bašta Party, and this DJ duo consists of Stefan Saveski and Nebojša Ilić from Belgrade, who appeared at the end of 2015 and started the b2b carousel on gramophones. In addition to Jazz / Soul / Funk / Disco / Boogie music that shaped and directed this DJ duo, you can also hear Reggae / Afrobeat / Hip Hop and Dance music in their sets.

Saturday, July 6, is reserved for the Bašta Party and Čola night – the night of songs by the most beloved
singer of the local audience – Zdravko Čolić.

Nikola Vemić can find a sweet spot between a broad set of influences and utilize them in a unique fashion. His sets are uplifting and bright – rough around the edges only when necessary. Even the nastiest of selections cannot wander too far from what’s at the core of his musical interest, be it soul, jazz, disco, or lately even dub. A DJ with extensive experience, covering a vast library – tried and tested in front of both the basement and major festival stage.
