Given the socio-political circumstances in our country, organizing this year’s festival has been extremely difficult from the very beginning.

Despite that, we believed it was important to support young authors and bring a high-quality film program to the local audience, with a strong message that change starts in our own yard.

In light of the recent protests and events in Serbia, especially after June 28th and 29th, we think that it is impossible to continue with the organization and holding of the festival while participants in our programs (students and young filmmakers from our country) are being arrested and injured in the streets.

We remain committed to holding the festival this year, with the full program as announced, hopefully under better circumstances.
