We are happy to share with you our last pre-festival news! Every edition of Bašta Fest has been opened by a young actor or actress who has experienced great success in the past year. These are all people with whom Bašta Fest grows, whose roles we look forward to and are proud of. In previous years, the Bašta Fest was opened by Nikola Rakočević, Slaven Došlo, Marko Janketić, Hana Selimović, Milan Marić, Isidora Simijonović, Filip Đurić and Ivana Vuković, Milica Janevski, Mladen Sovilj, Milena Radulović, and the eleventh Bašta Fest is opened by Ivana Zečević!

We enjoyed her roles in the series “The Group”, “No Trespassing”, “In the Clinch”, the films “Dudes: again!”, as well as “Prom Night”, which was awarded in Bajana Bašta, and we are looking forward to all the next ones that await her! When we asked Ivana what Bašta Fest is for her, she shared with us: “For me, since I started following it, Bašta Fest has been a symbol of youth, joy, and a good film program. It is a great honor for me to open such a festival, which deals with young and fearless energy in the middle of the most beautiful nature. This will also be my first time coming to Bašta Fest, and I have no doubt that it will be magical.”
