It’s time to share with you the jury of the twelfth Bašta Fest!

The main jury consists of three members: Tamara Dragičević, an actress from Serbia, Andrija Mardešić, a director from Croatia, and Jelena Mišeljić, a producer from Montenegro. Awards will be given for: Best Film (Golden Imagination), Best Male and Female Role (Golden Interpretation). The jury has the right to award two special awards, as well as to divide or not award one of the awards.

Tamara Dragičević is a Serbian actress, known for her work in theater, film, and television. Permanent member of the theater ensemble Atelje 212. She became famous for her roles in the film “Montevideo, God bless you!”, as well as the TV series “Military Academy”. This was followed by roles in “Panama”, “We Will Be the World Champions”, “Darkness”, “Žigosani u reketu”, “Underneath”, as well as the recognizable role of Silvana Armenulić in the series and film “Toma”, for which she received the Empress Theodora Award at the Niš Film Festival of Actors’ Achievements in 2021.

Andrija Mardešić is a Croatian film and TV director and screenwriter. In 2011, he graduated in Film and TV directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He is the author of various short films, the most outstanding of which are “Iris”, “Two All Alone” and “Steppe fox”, for which he received a number of national and foreign awards and were shown at dozens of film festivals. As a director and screenwriter, he worked on the biggest primetime TV projects of HRT, NovaTV and RTL, such as the series “#Don’t tell anyone”, “Wind rose”, “Whichever way the Ball Bounces”, “On the Border”, “Godfathers”… With David Kapac, he is the author of the feature film “Uncle”, which was screened at more than 50 festivals and won about 20 awards.

Jelena Mišeljić is a film producer and theoretician. She completed her basic and master’s studies in Production at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, where she is currently employed as a lecturer in Film theory and history. She received her doctorate in Transdisciplinary Studies of Contemporary Art and Media at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade. She is the producer of several internationally awarded films. She was the program director and selector of the Herceg Novi Film Festival. She is the selector of several programs for professional training and development of film projects, such as the Circle – Women Doc Accelerator initiative, intended for documentary filmmakers. She is a member of the EWA network – the European Women’s Audiovisual Network. She is a member of the European Film Academy.

At the third Bašta Fest, a regional award for the best camera (Golden Visualization) created in cooperation with Cineplanet rental was established. Rental Cineplanet provides the award-winning director of photography with equipment rental for the next film project for the amount of 5000 euros. The jury of the twelfth Bašta Fest for this award will be Marko Cile Mladenović, director of photography from Serbia.

Marko Mladenović is a director of photography from Belgrade, born in 1992. He studied camera at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, and has been actively involved in film, television, and advertising production for more than a decade, working as a director of photography, cinematographer, and member of creative teams on various projects — from short films to series and feature films. In addition to working in the first photo/video team at the first Bašta Fest in 2014, his work includes the series “Time of Evil”, “Besa: Blood Oath” and “Time of Death”, for which he won several awards for the camera at the Festival “Image in Movement”, as well as the award for best photography for the short film “Fatherland” at the Valjevo Film Festival in 2024.

YOUTH JURY

The Youth Jury made up of high school students from Bajina Bašta also awards its prize for the best film, and their participation in the program encourages the critical attitude of local youth. This year’s Youth Jury will consist of: Pavle Živanović, Ivana Lukić, Jovana Đurić, Katarina Purković, and Anđela Živanović.


Pavle Živanović is a student of the second grade of the Gymnasium, majoring in sociolinguistics. He likes to read and watch movies. He likes to read classics, science fiction and thrillers.

Ivana Lukić is a student in the second year of Gymnasium. She is interested in psychology and theology. She loves sports and has been actively involved in volunteering for a year.

Jovana Đurić is 17 years old. She likes art and literature and mostly spends her free time with tea and a book.

Katarina Purković is a student in the first grade of the “Josif Pančić” Gymnasium. In her free time, she likes singing, acting, and recitation.

Anđela Živanović is a student in the second grade of the “Josif Pančić” Gymnasium. Besides school, she has a lot of hobbies and likes many different things, from sports and art, all the way to history and literature. In her free time, if she is not reading, she is engaged in writing and archery.

The mentor and collaborator of the Youth Jury will be director Mina Đukić. Mina wrote and directed the award-winning film “Disobedient” (2014), which was screened at over 20 international festivals, including Sundance and Rotterdam. In front of Kiselo Dete production company, she was the producer and co-producer of several award-winning films, and recently she directed two TV series, “Mom and Dad are playing war 2” and “The Visit”. She is preparing a new film and teaches at the SAE Institute in Belgrade.
